Tired but content
I had a tremendous and relaxing weekend at a bluegrass festival in another state - man was it exactly what I needed. By the second day I could feel my core decompress. Eat, play music, nap in the grass, visit with dear friends, eat, play music. There were also structured concerts at mid afternoon and 8 in the evening, both made up of 4-5 bands from around the states and Canada. I took homework but twice I was caught with a wide open notebook and a matching, snoring mouth in the shade of a lovely tree. I played spoons all over camp until I had bruises ...And my husband played his pre-war K with anybody who needed him. He is such an incredible musician that he always surprises people. He's so humble - never tells them how he used to play professionally in Colorado.
Coming home was bittersweet though. I ended up staying up to some ungodly hour this morning finishing my studies and am now beyond tired. I dozed off at my keyboard. So as of now I am going home...And I will be going to bed e.a.r.l.y tonight.
